WRT Welcomes Cody Lowry as Director of Marketing and Communications

By WRT

(Philadelphia, PA: February 7, 2017) WRT, a national planning, urban design, architecture and landscape architecture firm, recently welcomed Cody Lowry as a new senior associate and director of marketing and communications.

In this role, Cody will work alongside the firm’s leadership to develop a robust marketing and communications program while also helping to position WRT for opportunities that align with the firm’s values.

“WRT is a historic company that has long been on my radar,” said Cody. “It’s exciting to be part of a new generation of thought leadership in the design field and I’m looking forward to contributing to the firm’s outreach and impact.”

Fittingly, Cody brings a wealth of experience and achievement to this position.

For the past two years, he has been the director of strategic partnerships for J2 Design, a Philadelphia-based branding agency. While there, he focused on building relationships with clients and partners while also optimizing J2’s approach to business development.

Prior to J2, Cody worked in a marketing communications role at Urban Engineers, a 450-person, multidisciplinary planning, design, construction, and owner’s representative firm. There he oversaw the development of a nationally recognized, award-winning marketing and communications program, as well as the development of new clients and alliances.

Cody graduated from Oklahoma City University with a bachelor’s degree in Asian Studies and a master’s degree in TESOL. He was a four-time member of the United States national rowing team. He serves as a board member on his neighborhood’s community development organization, the Fairmount CDC, and is involved at the committee-level with the ACE Mentor Program and Center for Architecture and Design in Philadelphia
