One of Area's Largest Minority-Owned Design Firm Awarded $100 Million County Office Complex
DIGroup Architecture, one of area’s largest minority-owned architectural firms, was awarded the design contract for a new two-building, 225,000 square foot Government Complex by the Union County Improvement Authority in New Jersey. The project represents the culmination of the county’s master plan to reduce lease and overhead costs while providing efficient service delivery for county residents. The Complex brings social services and county administration into one consolidated location at 61-99 West Grand Street in Elizabeth, NJ.
DIGroup Architecture is responsible for the programming and design of the facility, which will streamline departmental functions into one centralized hub. “This is an extraordinary investment by the county to create a centralized facility, that promotes efficient delivery of essential services to county residents in a welcoming and healthy environment. We envision this project as a catalyst for change that symbolizes the enduring bond between government and the people whom they serve,” said DIGroup President Vincent Myers.
Completion of construction and occupancy is anticipated for Spring 2023.
