Mia Rosensaft Receives LEED AP BD+C Designation

By The Lighting Practice, Inc.
Mia Rosensaft, Lighting Designer I

The Lighting Practice congratulates lighting designer, Mia Rosensaft, Lighting Designer I, on receiving her LEED AP BD+C title.

The LEED AP with Specialty represents an individual who has passed the LEED Green Associate exam and decided to enhance his or her technical skills with a more advanced LEED designation. All LEED APs with Specialty are required to pass the LEED Green Associate exam before anything else. With her LEED AP BD+C certification, Mia is now able to demonstrate her advanced knowledge of all the details, prerequisites, credits, definitions, and rules of a building design and construction.

Mia Rosensaft rejoined The Lighting Practice in 2021 after working for two prominent Philadelphia architecture firms. She graduated from Drexel University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Architecture and as a Pearson Prize Finalist for Best Architecture Thesis. Through lighting design, Mia can find synergy between her passions for architecture and fine arts by illuminating architectural features and highlighting key spatial moments within the built environment. Motivated by her interest in sustainability and human-centric design, she is a LEED Accredited Professional and is currently an NCARB Licensure Candidate. Additionally, Mia is actively involved in the American Institute of Architects (AIA) as well as her alma mater Drexel University. Mia is presently an Adjunct Professor for Building Systems & Lighting in the architecture department as well as a frequent guest juror for Thesis reviews.
