Jermaine Jenkins Named Director of Development and Strategic Partnerships

By Elizabeth Paul

Philadelphia, PA – December 5, 2018 – The Center for Architecture and Design (Center) and the Philadelphia Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA Philadelphia) are pleased to announce the addition of Jermaine Jenkins as the Director of Development and Strategic Partnerships. In this position, Jermaine will lead business development functions for both organizations with a focus on building strong relationships with key partners.

Jermaine comes to the Center and AIA Philadelphia from Witty Gritty, LLC, a community-focused event planning and marketing agency, where he built his knowledge of the city and its people. No stranger to the Center and AIA Philadelphia, Jermaine was an integral part of the Witty Gritty logistics team that helped deliver DesignPhiladelphia 2017 and 2018 as well as the new Forum on Architecture and Design, and AIA Philadelphia’s involvement in the 2016 AIA National Convention. Rebecca Johnson, Executive Director of both organizations, states “Jermaine knows our programming, is a perfect fit for our team and is excited to leverage his network in the City to help us meet our ambitious fundraising goals for 2019 and beyond. We are thrilled to have a veteran development professional of his stature on our team.”
