Gardner/Fox Breaks Ground at Drexel University's College of Computing and Informatics

Gardner/Fox is working with Strada Architecture to complete the interior fit-out of approximately 50,000 sq. ft. of office, classroom, and computer laboratory space on two floors in 3675 Market Street. This space will serve as the new home of Drexel's College of Computing and Informatics, leveraging the proximity of adjacent commercial tenets within the Science Center campus for strategic partnerships, cooperative employment opportunities, and commercial ventures.

The college seeks a vibrant, open, state-of-the-art facility. The classrooms will be flexible active learning spaces, with flexible seating, and advanced audiovisual systems to support the University's learning pedagogues. The use of a communicating stair, architectural glass walls, gathering spaces, and areas of open ceilings with provide an exciting space, conducive to collaboration, for the college to call home.
