Did You Know The Collaborative Technical Assistance

By Kimberly Pacini
Hawthorne Hall

The Collaborative’s work is to ensure all communities will have access to critical resources necessary for driving development of their own built environment. One of the ways we do this is through Technical Assistance.

This is a limited set of consultation services that may address a physical development project or a community design related issue or program. Technical assistance services typically do not include conceptual design.

Our Technical Assistance services broadens our client base to include not only nonprofit organizations but extends to government bodies, firms and businesses that can benefit from our areas of expertise. Through these efforts, we are able to expand our influence among local, regional, national, or even international audiences, educating any group interested in learning to incorporate community engagement into their services.

Technical assistance is provided by both staff and/or our design professional volunteers and can include:

-Advisory services
-Brief assessments
-Referral services

Examples of these sorts of projects include:

-Structural Feasibility Services
-Energy Assessments
-RFP Assistance

If your organization or firm could benefit from our Technical Assistance services, we invite you to contact the Collaborative!
