Cristina Wuenschel Joins NORR

NORR Philadelphia is pleased to announce that Cristina Wuenschel, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, has recently joined the firm as Senior Project Architect. She will primarily be focusing on healthcare projects and will also contribute to projects in other markets.

Cristina most recently worked at Ballinger, where she served as project architect on a number of healthcare projects, including Cooper Health System’s Fifth Floor Pavilion Patient Room Fit-Out, which earned the 2016 GBCA Construction Excellence Award for “Best Fit-Out.” She also oversaw the daily progress and managed the project team for the new construction of the Lasko Tower at Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital.

Prior to that, she worked at NORR Philadelphia’s predecessor firms Cubellis and GBQC, where she was instrumental on several projects including the Rutgers Camden Recreation and Fitness Center Renovation and The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey’s F-Wing Academic Expansion. Her recent healthcare experience and previous employment with the company brings things back full circle.

“Cristina’s mastery of the technical complexities of healthcare helps us to take our game to a higher level. Her thorough and knowledgeable approach will once again reinforce to clients that they’re getting the best from NORR,” said Fletcher MacNeill, AIA, LEED AP, Principal and Healthcare Practice Leader.

Earlier in her career, while serving as project designer at Becker Winston Architects, she participated in a number of historic restoration and renovation projects, including the Cassatt House at the Library Company of Philadelphia, Shriner Hall at Hood College and Rhoads Hall at Bryn Mawr College. She earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Temple University in 1990.

Cristina will work across sector boundaries at NORR Philadelphia, acting as a senior resource with strengths in the development and coordination of various complex projects.
