Kimberton, PA—C. Raymond Davis & Sons recently received awards for all six projects entered in the Associated Builders and Contractors Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter’s 28th Annual Excellence in Construction Awards competition.

ABC is a national construction industry trade association representing more than 21,000 chapter members; the Eastern PA Chapter represents over 450 member companies. The Excellence in Construction Awards competition is ABC’s premiere merit shop awards program that highlights outstanding merit construction throughout the region.

CRD was awarded five Excellence Level awards for the following projects in their respective categories:

The Stockton Education Center at Morven Museum & Garden - Best Institutional $5-10 Million
The Stockton Education Center (SEC) is a 2-story, 7,900 sqft multipurpose building designed to serve the everyday uses of the historic museum located in Princeton, NJ. The SEC houses guest orientation, gathering and educational areas, the director’s office, and spaces for storage and support staff.

Steeple View - Best Commercial Over $10 Million
Steeple View is a new, 48,000 sqft mixed-use building consisting of lower level retail space and ten high-end residential condominiums on the upper two levels, located in downtown Newtown, PA.

Private Residence, Philadelphia - Best Residential $5-10 Million
This project involved a complete renovation to a 6-story certified historic period home originally built in 1857. The residence includes 8,000 sqft plus a 1,000 sqft finished rooftop space and features numerous historically accurate and custom high-end finishes.

The Princeton Wound Care Center - Best Commercial Under $1 Million
This project involved a 5,635 sqft fit-out for the PWCC, a single-story outpatient wound care center specializing in hyperbaric therapy located in Princeton, NJ.

The Phelps School Gymnasium - Best Pre-Engineered Metal Building $5-10 Million
The new 22,500 sqft athletic center for the Phelps School in Malvern, PA, consists of a gymnasium, locker rooms, a concession area, storage space and offices.

CRD was also awarded Merit Level in the Best Institutional $1-5 Million category for the Marian S. Ware Program Services Center at Canine Partners for Life located in Cochranville, PA. The project involved a complete renovation to the original 4,000 sqft office building, as well as a 4,000 sqft addition. The improvements include additional office space, meeting rooms, a whelping area for puppies, and a handicapped restroom.
