April 16, 2021 — Lancaster, PA: Baker, Ingram & Associates has announced the election of Brian D. McGlade, P.E. as the new President of the firm. Brian assumed these responsibilities in April of this year and succeeds outgoing President and Founding Principal A. Paynter Ingram, who held the position for four years. The office was originally occupied by Lawrence R. Baker, Jr. who served for sixteen years.

Brian has over 36 years of engineering experience and has been with Baker, Ingram & Associates for over 20 years. During his tenure with the firm, he has served on the Board of Directors as the Secretary and, most recently, as the Treasurer. He is also the Principal and Branch Manager of our office in Haddon Heights, NJ.

Mr. McGlade holds a Master of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Drexel University and is a registered Professional Engineer in New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Florida and Texas.

Baker, Ingram & Associates is a structural engineering consulting firm incorporated in 1999. With five offices throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware and New Jersey, our highly responsive team includes 15 registered structural engineers with licenses in a total of 20 states.

The firm specializes in the structural engineering of buildings — both new and old, including: university and collegiate; elementary and secondary schools; multi-family residential; mixed use; senior living and life care; hospitals; laboratories; churches; office and retail centers; institutions; industrial plants; historic buildings; and waterfront structures.

This appointment is a prestigious professional milestone and we congratulate Brian as he assumes his new role and responsibilities at the firm.
