Bernardon Hires Philip Yocum as Historic Preservation Architect
Philadelphia, PA – September 24, 2019. Philip Yocum, RA, LEED AP has joined the architecture, interior design, and landscape architecture firm of Bernardon as Architect specializing in historic preservation.
Yocum brings more than thirty-five years of experience in preservation and adaptive reuse of historic structures, higher education, and civic and cultural design. He will be responsible for management of various historic preservation and other types of projects for Bernardon’s diverse client base as well as serving as a resource to all three of Bernardon’s office locations.

Previously, Yocum was Preservation Architect at JMA/Commonwealth Heritage Group, and President/Architect at Philip Yocum Architect.
Yocum is active in many organizations, including the West Chester Historical & Architectural Review Board and the Association for Preservation Technology. He is a founding member of the West Chester Preservation Awards Program in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
