Bala Engineers establishes Washington DC Office

Bala Consulting Engineers has acquired Arlington, Virginia based Meta Engineers, PC to establish BALA | META. The merger with Bala enables Meta to offer additional services of Structural Engineering, Technology (Tele/Data, Security and AV), Energy Modeling, Commissioning, Validation and Critical Systems Operation and Testing to their clients. Bala | Meta will serve the corporate, education, data center, public sector, religious, healthcare and developer markets in the greater Washington, DC / Virginia region.

Both Meta and Bala have close to 40 years of engineering expertise and have designed numerous noteworthy projects. Meta’s prominent projects include: Chapman Stables Condos, National Cancer Institute, PEPCO Washington DC Southwest Substation, KIPP DC Charter Elementary and Middle School, FBI Chesapeake VA Field Office, Port Covington Rye Street Market, American Woodmark Corporate Headquarters and Johns Hopkins University’s Applied Physics Laboratory.
