AIA National is Offering Academic Scholarships

Gensler Diversity Scholarship

The Gensler Diversity Scholarship awards underrepresented and minority students enrolled in U.S. not-for-profit NAAB-accredited architecture programs with academic scholarships and summer internship opportunities. The first prize winner will receive $20,000, and the second prize winner receive $10,000 in scholarship.

Payette Sho-Ping Chin Memorial Academic Scholarship

AIA Fellow Sho-Ping Chin shaped the national discourse on women in design and co-founded the AIA Women's Leadership Summit. This $10,000 scholarship is awarded to a woman entering at least her third year of undergraduate study or any level of graduate study within an accredited architecture program.

Yann Weymouth Graduate Scholarship

This $5,000 scholarship will be awarded to a student whose work demonstrates an exemplary focus at the design intersection of sustainability, resilience, wellness and beauty. Students in any level of graduate study within a NAAB-accredited architecture program are eligible. 

To help the scholarship recipient establish contacts within the profession and receive deeper insights about the field, they will be mentored by Yann Weymouth, AIA for the scholarship year.
