As the vinyl siding industry continues to build its case as the resilient, eco-friendly choice for home design and building, the Vinyl Siding Institute (VSI) will present a live webinar, “Keeping Traditional Designs Alive: The Resilient Benefits of Polymeric Exteriors,” Thursday, September 2 at 1:00 p.m. (EST). Presented by Designer and VSI Consultant, Fernando Pagés Ruiz. The virtual presentation will highlight ways architects, designers and planners can use vinyl siding and other polymeric claddings in traditional neighborhood designs (TNDs) and still remain true to their practice, as well as how polymeric exteriors stand the test of time when it comes to sustainability and resiliency.

Webinar participants will walk away with:
• A history of what the polymeric material industry has been doing to support traditional neighborhood design
• A strong understanding of the possibilities vinyl siding offers that incorporate traditional neighborhood design (TND), and resilient, sustainable and affordable solutions
• A better understanding of the variety, versatility and innovation of vinyl claddings, trim, cellular PVC and other polymeric architectural products
• Details about VSI’s practical new guide, Architectural Design for Traditional Neighborhoods
