Nason Construction Begins Work at Wallops Island, VA |

Nason Construction recently received a Notice to Proceed to begin work on Phase IV of the Marine Science Consortium's campus revitalization project at Wallops Island, VA. Phase IV involves the new construction of a dormitory building for up to 64 students as well as improved staff housing.
"Nason Construction is excited to be a part of the Marine Science Consortium's campus revitalization project," said President Michael B. Berardi. "Our firm has a strong reputation among institutions of higher education in the Mid-Atlantic, and through the Marine Science Consortium, we are able to be involved in creating a living/learning dormitory for students studying waterways and marine impact life along the dynamic Eastern Shore coastline of Virginia and Maryland."
The Marine Science Consortium (MSC) is a non-profit educational corporation comprised of regional colleges and universities in the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education, and was founded in 1968. The MSC moved to Wallops Island in 1971 and is adjacent to NASA's Goddard Space Center.
