Historic Preservation Community
Activities
AIA Philadelphia's Historic Preservation Committee monitors endangered architectural landmarks, coordinates programs; cooperates with other preservation advocacy organizations in the region; and advises the Chapter on preservation issues. Each May, the committee plans myriad activities in conjunction with Preservation Month, including: the Forum on Philadelphia Preservation Practice; the Landmark Building and Henry Magaziner Awards; and the Preservation Wake.
Get InvolvedThe committee is open to all individuals interested in supporting and increasing professional and public
awareness of the historic resources of this region. Members meet the first Friday of each month
at the Chapter office.
